Hi, I’m Jemma Blandford, founder, cake creator, and all-round baking perfectionist behind Jemma-Louise Cakes.

Based in beautiful Lindenow, I’ve been baking with heart and soul since 2011, when I opened my first kitchen at just 21. With over 20 years of experience as a qualified pastry chef, I specialise in custom cakes and pastries that taste just as good as they look – maybe even better!

I’m a proud mum to my sweet girl Emily and a passionate perfectionist who finds pure joy in baking. From wedding cakes to market bakes, I pour love and detail into everything I create – because for me, cake is more than dessert, it’s a memory in the making.

My cake journey started in the most magical way – choosing a design from the Women’s Weekly Birthday Cake Book and watching my Nanna bring it to life. Having a twin sister meant twice the cake, twice the fun, and a lifelong love of creativity in the kitchen. With grandparents who were wedding decorators, it’s safe to say that the passion for events runs deep in my flour-dusted - sugar-sweetened veins.

After years of growing from a home kitchen to a shopfront in Campbell Arcade, Bairnsdale and back again, I’ve found my rhythm – creating beautiful cakes that bring people together.
